Guest Speaking & Seminars
My entire life has been committed to enjoying the great outdoors and introducing others to the world I truly love and call home.
My education lends itself well to my joy of teaching others. In between adventures in the great outdoors, I was able to earn my bachelor degree in marketing education from the University of Wisconsin-Stout.
I have been a professional guide and outfitter for many years. My guiding and outfitting adventures have taken place in Colorado, Montana, Nebraska, South Dakota, and Alaska. I have guided for everything from brown bears in Alaska to waterfowl in Nebraska. These years in the field with clients brought me intense joy. It’s amazing to see an outdoorsman see their first bear in the wild or take their first spring gobbler.
For the last 15 years, I have been an international hunting and fishing consultant. I began consulting in 1999 for Cabela’s Outdoor Adventures. This is still the core of my consulting business.
In addition, I have spent several years working in retail. Having been a guide and outfitter, it was easy for me to suggest the real, boots-on-the-ground gear that clients needed.
Over the years, I have been asked to speak on several topics. I have performed seminars to boy scouts heading to the famous Filmont Wilderness area in New Mexico and many seminars on international hunting. I really enjoy speaking to a group and teaching them about subjects they are interested in learning about.
I am currently looking for parties interested in having me arrange a professional seminar for their event. I am also interested in speaking to your professional group, club, or organization.
Some of the topics you may be interested in include:
- International wingshooting
- International fishing
- International big game hunting
